There's something so comforting about Autumn. I love sweater weather and all the things that go along with it – sitting by an outdoor fire pit, shuffling through leaves on a crisp walk, cozying up under my favorite blanket with a good book, and visiting the apple orchard. When I do any of those things, I usually have a warm drink in my hand.

For the perfect Autumn drink there are countless options, from hot coffee to warm cider, mulled wine to hot cocoa, and of course the ubiquitous PSL! I’ve included a few of my favorites below, please give them a try and let me know what you think; and to keep your drink warm, we suggest enjoying it in one of our insulated tumblers for a stylish & functional choice.

If it’s fall, it must be Pumpkin Spiced Latte season! I have linked the Starbucks recipe for their PSL here, but I also encourage you to try this recipe from the Pioneer Woman. Combine milk with pumpkin puree, spices, sugar and vanilla and then add to hot coffee. The whipped cream topping is optional, but would it be a PSL without?

We are loving this Cinnamon Maple Latte recipe from Roasty Coffee. It isn't too sweet, yet hints at the flavors of fall. Of course you can adjust the amount of maple syrup according to taste. They also have a great suggestion on how to make frothy milk with a mason jar and microwave.

To me, nothing says fall like hot apple cider (sorry PSL). This Caramel Apple Cider recipe from Add A Pinch is quick, easy and delicious (sometimes we add a dash of cinnamon on top!). The instructions are given for a single serving and for a crowd - perfect for any fall gathering. The addition of a splash of spiced rum makes a tasty fall drink.

If you need the caffeine pick me up but want something different, a matcha latte is the way to go. Matcha is simply powdered green tea, and is loaded with antioxidants that provide numerous health benefits (which may include fat loss and improved brain function). Even without the benefits, this is a comforting drink when looking for a break from coffee.
